You’ll be given a medical sedative that will put you in an advanced state of comfort and relaxation by the time the appointment begins. It usually takes about an hour to kick in, so you’ll need to take it before you get to our dental office. (Arrange for someone else to drive you to and from your appointment.) Remember that the effects will remain for several hours after your visit, so make sure you allow yourself at least 24 hours to rest.
